PIXMA PRO-200 help, unable to print on larger than 11" x 17" size paper

PIXMA PRO-200 and I am about to toss it out my upstairs bedroom window... I am a colorist and I print on strathmore mixed media, smooth, and vellum cardstock and I have probably wasted close to $2000.00 on paper ink and art supplies..I thought this printer was capable of printing on paper bigger than the 11x17 that im reduced to print on plzzzz help

There are a lot of issues related to printing custom sizes. A lot. Loads of threads and it's been a problem so large that three years ago YouTube videos started being made about the issues with the software - but I have seen comments going back five years. It's that bad. Canon is ignoring this as being an issue.

Respectfully if you sell a printer saying it can print 13x39 then it needs to do it. Easily. If there's a bug or two then fine, fix it. But in multiple countries the inability to do what it says in the sales material contravenes consumer protection legislation - or is a breach of contract or duty of care - and, given the duration and extent of this failure, borders on fraud.

The software isn't easy to use, but using the Custom paper function fails to do what's claimed and become available in the list of printable paper sizes in PPL. Editing this in Windows print settings also fails. Editing it on the printer fails.

Canon need to solve this problem. They are not doing so.
