You don't specify what application you're printing from, i.e. PPL or other, where you define a print size. Additionally, does the Pro 200 use Canon Media tool where you define print size and paper size? In other words, are you getting a paper size mis-match between the print application and the printer?

I'm trying to print on some 8x10 matte photo paper using my recently purchased Pixma Pro 200 and it will not allow me to do this. It gives the following error popup:

I did not run into this issue at all with my Pro 100. I can't understand why I am not allowed to print on what is a very standard type of paper in a very standard size that I know previous models of this printer could handle easily. Does anyone know any workarounds to print on matte paper at this size?

I'm printing from Photoshop! Page dimensions of the canvas matched the size of the actual paper and the size that was being dictated in the print settings. I have not used the canon media configuration tool before.

It may help to refer to this basic page from Canon on the Pro 200.

What I experienced on my Pro 1000 was the printer screen showing a different paper size than I was sending from my print manager. The solution I chose was to disable the printer's page setting, allowing me to define paper sizes in my print manager.
