topic imagePROGRAF PRO-300 Does anyone use Paper Feed Adjustment for 3rd party papers? in Professional Photo Printers

Does anyone use Paper Feed Adjustment in the Media Configuration Tool for 3rd party papers?

I just got a Pro-300 and I love it! I'm using it with a few different Hahnemühle papers. Using the AMX1 and ICC profile files supplied by Hahnemühle, I'm getting beautiful prints.

I noticed that Hahnemühle's AMX1 files choose an appropriate base paper type, but don't contain any data for Paper Feed Adjustment. Has anyone compared print quality with and without Paper Feed Adjustment? Is it worth wasting a sheet of expensive paper to use it?

I know Canon strongly recommends using PFA, but they warn of various evil things that will happen if you don't use it, none of which I've observed.

Thanks for the help!
