topic How to safely store CANON PIXMA PRO-10 indefinitely? in Professional Photo Printers

I have a Canon Pixma Pro-10 and will not be using it for a very long time due to grieving. I cannot afford constant ink refills just to keep the printer on and would like advice on how to properly clean and store the print head so that it does not dry out/need replacing.
What is the official guideline for doing so?

Thanks so much.

Hi Kaixingin,

When your PIXMA PRO-10 will not be used for an extended period of time, please turn your printer off using the power button on the printer. Please do not unplug the power or if it is on a switch, do not use the swithc without turning the PRO-10 off first. There are no other actions needed.
