Hi Arthur,

I'm in the UK and spoke to Canon technical support (Robert Chiew) and when I tried to explain the same problem of 52 lights flashing on printer accompanied with error code 6910 he said it was a paper jam.

I have found no paper jam and suspect an electronic issue.

UK support is poor and the only solution is to send it away which is very inconvenient. Being an ex Canon copier engineer and a printer engineer for 35 years don't rate Canon service support.

Any solutions apart from sending it to get repaired?

Regards,Mark

Hey all, not quite sure where to start...I inherited a Pixma Pro-10 and plugged it in for the first time. The power and resume buttons are doing the alternating flash thing, but the number doesn't match up with any of the error codes I was finding online. They're flashing back and forth a total of 50 or 52 times before the stall/restart. Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi,

I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer.

If the issue persists, the printer has experienced a hardware failure and would need to be replaced. You would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.
