topic PIXMA PRO-200: Power button not working after being idle in Professional Photo Printers

I recently purchased the Pixma Pro-200 printer. I have only used it 5-10 times. Right out of the box, I had this problem and it continues every time it has been idle or off for awhile. I press the power button, but nothing happens. I have to play this game of unplugging it from the wall, plugging it back in, unplugging it from the back of the printer, then unplugging it again from the wall and plugging it back in. Only then will the power button light up when I press it. It is exhausting as I have to move two full filing cabinets to get to the plug socket behind it to unplug/plug it in.
