imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 Does software affect print quality?

I have a Pro-1000. Usually just print from Lightroom using the ICC profiles for the various papers.

I also use QImage Ultimate to print as well.

I see Canon has a package called professional Print & Layout.

My question is, if I am using ther ICC profiles, do the print quality vary based on the software I use to print?

I have printed the same picture using the three methods and do not see a difference, but it could just be me?
