Nozzle check Pro 200 doesn't print BK but printer prints black documents, can't align print head

PIXMA Pro 200, is several years old but never really used. I retired and moved and decided to start using. I have new canon ink, canon print heads appears not blocked. It print word documents in black and color photos seem fine. The printer will not align, the print head doesn't print vertical lines in black and only some horizontal. The nozzle check prints all but black (BK). Doesn't print BK at all which seems weird since word documents print black. Any suggestions. A new printhead is pricy and over half the price of the printer the last time I looked.

I guess the Black text isn't printed by the BK cartridge
