topic PIXMA Pro9500 Questions After Not Using It in 7+ Years in Professional Photo Printers

Looking for advice on usability of Pixma Pro9500. I have not used the printer in 7 or more years. There seem to be two issues in usability of the printer going forward. 1) I am on Mac OS 12. I cannot find drivers for the Pixma Pro9500 on the Canon site. Do such drivers exist or am I out of luck? 2) I assume the ink jets have dried ink. Can they be cleaned or is the cleaning/repair not worth it?

Can either or both of those issues be solved or is it time to dispose of the printer?

Thanks for posting!

While our Forum Community members are welcome to chime in, your product has been retired. Once a product is retired, the official Canon support content (troubleshooting articles, user guides, how-to videos, etc.) are often removed from the Canon website.

To take advantage of Canon's innovative technologies, consider reaching out to our Canon Upgrade Specialists at 1-866-443-8002.

Have a great day!
