Serial Number Lookup for Used Pro9000 Printer

Does anybody know how to look up the serial number on an older printer? It's a Canon PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II Inkjet Photo Printer. I'm deciding whether to buy it and the seller can't tell me how old it is. But I know the serial #.
