    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi. I assume you mean the cover that says Pixma and opens to reveal the ink cartridges. I just checked my Pro-100 to confirm what I thought.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is no lock-open feature on the cover. Did some foreign material maybe fall into the hinge area?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I changed two inks. took the packaging off correctly,, inserted inks in correct places. the top cover will not close. it seems locked, there are no error messages. power on/off makes no difference,.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
