Streaking Problems with Brand New Canon PRO-300

Hello! I bought a Canon PRO-300 a few days ago & so far out of 20 prints only 9 are useable. The rest have weird ink streaking (or head strikes?)

The ink is different colors.

The streaks don’t go to the edge of the paper.

They’re in different spots every time.

I’m using matte paper & have tried several different settings as well as ICC profiles (Eg. Red River matte polar white).

Nozzle check is perfect.

I’ve tried inserting through the back manual feed.

I’ve tried adjusting the paper abrasion setting.

Any other ideas? If it can’t print on matte photo paper I will have to return it. Bummer because the good ones are BEAUTIFUL! Then the next one has a crazy streak. 😞
