So after getting my Pro-10 set up after a long time in storage, I got it all cleaned up with fresh ink. I have it set up with a USB cable for the time being. I must have lost the CD that came with it. I decided to just download the drivers and other software from Canon's web site. I could already tell this was going to be an issue because instead of a disc with a single "Setup" app, it had separate DMG files with packages to be run but no direction as to what order. I'm running on an intel Mac running Catalina. It looks like I'm missing a bunch of stuff. There's no way to change paper type or other print settings. The only paper this thing has ever heard of is some Platinum N. The last time I had this printer hooked up (an older Mac I no longer have), I could switch the paper type to various glossy and matte papers, some art papers and even plain paper.

Another thing that tells me that something isn't right is when I launch the Canon Quick Menu, I get this:

If anyone knows what I did wrong or what I can do, I'd really appreciate the help.

I have a Pro-100 since 2014 installed on various Macs and Windows PCs and have never used the CD, so that isn't your issue.

Based on what you described I am suspecting your problem that you have the AirPrint version of the printer, and not the IJ Series version.

Go into Printers & Scanners and delete your printer.

The select the "+" icon to add a printer and wait for the IJ Series version to appear. The first one to appears is almost always the AirPrint version - ignore that. Keep waiting; it could take several minutes.

Just verifying that you have the 16.41 driver.

Unless you have specials reasons, you don't need any of the other software.

Hey, thanks for responding so quickly. I deleted all of my printers just to simplify (the other printers are trivial to add back in) and I went ahead and added the printer with the non air print driver. It is 16.41 but I still have a printer that only knows about "Platinum N" paper.

None of those presets are changeable. I'm going to find something else to do for the rest of the evening and come back to this tomorrow night, hopefully with a fresh set of eyes.
