Thanks for the information. We did use 90# and it worked well. Looked just like a real watercolor. We had another cannon printer that allowed you to feed flat from the back but the pro 10 does not have this feature that I'm aware of.

I printed on 90# successfully but unless you can run the paper flat I'm not sure about 300#...may be too thick.

Hi Milld4,

You can use paper in the following weight ranges:

From the Rear Tray: From 17 to 28 lb (64 to 105 g /m2) (plain paper except for Canon genuine paper)
* You can use non-Canon genuine specialty paper that is up to 53 lb (200 g /m2).
Do not use heavier or lighter paper (except for Canon genuine paper), as it could jam in the printer.

From the Manual Feed Tray: From 4 to 23.6 mil (0.1 to 0.6 mm) (up to 93 lb (350 g /m2))
Do not use paper thicker or heavier than this, as it could jam in the printer.

More information on the media types, sizes, and thicknesses you can use with the printer can be found here.

Hope this helps!

This didn't answer your question or issue?
