paper not feeding from rear tray

I have been trying to install a Proxima Pro-100. I downloaded manual and driver becasue my computer has no Cd-rom.

I have a test page and when I send it to print no paper goes in from rear tray and it "out of paper". Support code 1000.

I have been at this for several hours and am very frustratwd at this point. Would appreciate any suggestions on how to proceed.

The terminology for the Pro-100 is that the rear tray is on the to rear of the printer. The rearmost paper feed is the manual feed. Are you placing the paper in the correct location?
