Aside from re-installing the latest version of Print Studio Pro, unfortunately I have no specific suggestion regarding resolution the grey bars problem you have encountered.

I do wonder, though, about your reluctance to simply print from Photoshop if it avoids the grey bars. As far as I have been able to determine, printing using only Photoshop and the Canon Pro-100 driver can accomplish all you can do with Print Studio Pro. I do have PSP and have looked at all aspects of its interface, and have printed with it out of curiosity a couple of times, but in my normal printing with my Pro-100 I never use it and rely soley on Photoshop and the printer driver.

Robert N.

Hello all, I have been trying to fix this issue that has only occurred when I try to print in photoshop through the canon print studio automation. I am using a canon-pro 100. As you can see in the picture provided below, I get these grey faded bars printed below the actual subject matter.

This does not occur when I print through the typical photoshop printing utility or windows printing utility. If this is a common problem, which I dearly hope it is, I apologize for the repost, but I could not find a solution or anyone else even having this same problem.

Just printing from photoshop natively is not really a solution for me as I really prefer the canon print studio's interface and options.

Thank you for any assistance with this!

If printing a single image is your goal I concur with robnich. The primary advantage of PSP is setting all the correct “switches “ for printing from PS or LR. It doesn’t do anything you can’t do from the PS print dialogue.

PSP does allow things like multiple prints on a page. I don’t believe PS allows that, but I am not sure since I never do that.

I have printed several 13x19 posters like this in Photoshop, assembling them from five or six 4x6 photos.
