I don’t have any personal knowledge to answer any of those questions.

FWIW, here is what the onscreen manual for the Pro-100 says:

Pro 10/100/1000 for 110lb recycled matte cardstock?

Hey guys

looking for the best printer for my needs and any opinion or advice is extremely appreciated.

110 lb cardstock (1/2 of an a4 sheet aka 8.5x5.5)

100% recycled, matte

Full bleed

manual feed for >50 cards at a time

good color accuracy

i bought the 100s before and my issue was that the printing was not as crisp on the paper compared to my multifunction laser printer. Is it because of the dye vs pigment ink of the 10s/100s?

any help is appreciated.

Using a dye ink printer on uncoated printing media is not going to result in crisp images because the ink spreads as it is absorbed into the media. Laser printing or pigmented inks deposit particles onto the media which won't spread.

This is what my research has told me.

is there an appreciable difference in print speeds between the 10/100 for cardstock?

can it handle 110?

any other canon printers better suited?

thx again everyone and John 🙂
