Any way to get in camera playback/edit features on a PC?

I have a Vixia HF R700 video camera. I like the editing and playback features that are in camera. The screen on the camera is very small so is there a way to get these features for use on my PC when I download and play back the video from it?

The easiest way to use the playback features, when using a larger screen, is to use the Mini-HDMI Cable HTC-100, included with your camcorder. You may use this cable to view your movies on any monitor that supports the HDMI connection.
