XA10 Video Camera and video monitor

I'm going crazy on this one. Have googles this to the end of the internet and also have spend crazy man hours trying to see how I can get this to work.

What I want is to be able to connect the XA10 to a TV so I can view it live while recording, so I dont have to use just the small screen on the camera. Everything I try I can only do already recorded video playback to the TV. Does anyone know of anything to configure the camera so it will show the video on TV while recording?

Apprecaite any help!

It would be helpful to know what you have tried so far. Are you connecting using the HDMI cable or one of the other A/V connections? What, if any, menu options have you changed in an attempt to connect the XA10 to a TV?

Hello wheaton1,

The XA10 would support HDMI connection to a television monitor in Playback mode only. It would not connect and work as a monitor while you're in recording mode.
