We shot some footage with the Canon R5C in C-LOG and I want to add a LUT in Premiere to make it REC 709. I can't find a link to this LUT anywhere on their website or online. Does it exist? A Google search brings up a bunch of LUTs for their other cameras, forum posts and stylized LUTs I can buy. I just want the REC 709 LUT. Anyone have a download link?

Just look on the R5C support website. You haven't said what country you're in, so here's the UK web site (I dont think it makes any difference what country you go to for the LUTs):

https://www.canon.co.uk/support/consumer/products/cameras/eos-r/eos-r5-c.html?type=software&os=Windows%2010%20(64-bit)

Click the "Software" tab, and scroll down to "Canon Log look-up table for Gamma". You should find "Canon lookup table Version 201911". Download that and stash it somewhere relevant.

You will find a LOT of LUTs in there. I recommend:

3dlut (1d is obsolete)

65grid-3dlut (the others ae fairly obsolete, but if you have an old monitor e.g. which only supports 33 grid, you would use that)

full-to-full-range (only choice 😉

then the colour space conversion you want. For example, if you shot log3, you would use "CinemaGamut_CanonLog3-to-BT709_WideDR_65_FF_Ver.2.0.cube"

That should do it. BTW I think this LUT file is the same for all their cameras (that shoot log).

Thanks to AtticusLake's link above, I found this link which directly lead to the LUT page. I believe the LUT.zip is suitable for all the Canon camera, though the page shows that it is a supporting page for Canon R5C.

https://www.canon.co.uk/support/consumer/products/cameras/eos-r/eos-r5-c.html?type=software&softwaredescriptionid=tcm:14-1331776&os=Windows%2010%20(64-bit)&productTcmUri=tcm:14-2175668

I have tried the LUTs, they worked very well.

Hi Vinodyzx,

You are correct. This is a standard LUT package for all of Canon's current LOG capable cameras.

Hey

Have you tried this one [Removed 3rd party sales link per Community Guidelines, inserting screenshot]

It is a pack of a few but contains a really good CLOG3 to Rec.709 for just bashing out clean graded looking footage

It looks like there's a new version out: "Canon lookup table ver.202510". I don't know how or whether it's different.

Not sure what your asking -- but you need to use the LUT for the input colour space you're shooting, and the output colour space you want to convert to (normally Rec 709). So, if you're shooting Canon Log 2 with cinema gamut, you would probably want "CinemaGamut_CanonLog2-to-BT709_WideDR_65_FF_Ver.2.0.cube". Note that the file name contains "CanonLog2", which is what you said you're shooting.
