Just a word of clarification. I have been using these cameras in India, literally in the field - meaning outside in the countryside, which is always dusty and usually warm to hot. Therefore both these cameras are exposed to lots of dust, and so they are much more susceptible to becoming dirty than if one were to use them in a studio.

All the best.

Richard Naismith

Hi everyone. I'm new here. I have a C400 and a R5C. The R5C has automatic sensor cleaning, and the sensor is impeccably clean, even after 6 months of ocassional use. But the C400 is chronically dirty. I have to clean it by hand which can be done, but still picks up dirt quickly. My question is: Is there an automatic sensor cleaning function available for the C400 or not. Please let me know.

Thanks.

I looked through the manual last night and I couldn't find anything on sensor cleaning but I can't imagine the camera not having this feature.

AI didn't find anything either. 🤔

If available, It should be on one of the wrench tabs.
