Bug: EOS C50 with RF 600mm F4L IS USM freezes in H+

Hi all.

My name is Michael, and I am new to this forum.
My friend noticed, and I could confirm the same with the same combination
that there seems to be a bug with

- Canon Cinema EOS C50 Camera, Firmware 1.0.0.1 and 1.0.1.1
- Canon RF 600mm F4L IS USM Lens, Firmware 1.0.6

in picture mode when trying to shoot in High+ (H+):
As soon as you push the shutter button with that combination and in that specific mode, the camera "freezes".
When you remove the battery and put it back again, the camera can be used again as normal.

Are there other Canon Cinema EOS C50 camera users with the RF 600 lens experiencing the same issue?
I wonder how this can be reported as bug to Canon.

I am sorry to hear that you and your friend are having issues with the EOS C50 when attempting to shoot in high speed continuous using the RF 600mm F4L IS USM lens. Canon confirmed the bug and advised that they released a new firmware, firmware 1.0.2.1, to fix this.
I can confirm that the bug is fixed with that firmware.
