Canon C300 mk iii - SD card media access from computer

Is it possible to access media on the SD card from my computer while the card is still in the camera? I've had the camera for three days and haven't been able to accomplish this. I need to remove the SD card in order to access files and copy to my computer.

It seems to me this functionality has to be possible and there must be something pretty simple I must be missing, but I've been looking and can't find a solution anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For most Canon cameras you need software to get the images/videos. It does not appear as a disk drive.

I believe that XF utility, available on the Canon support page for your C300, is the program you need for file transfer to your computer via wifi or ethernet cable.
