    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’m experiencing an issue with one of our Canon XF605 cameras in a live broadcast setup. The camera is connected via SDI output and receives genlock input from a Ross Video switcher.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After initial boot-up, the camera outputs a full-screen black image. This occurs regardless of whether genlock is present or not. To resolve the issue temporarily, I must disconnect and reconnect the genlock cable 1–3 times before the camera begins to output a proper image.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’ve tested with multiple genlock cables and different genlock sources, but the issue persists. Notably, this is the only camera out of five in our system (the others are CR-N500's) exhibiting this behavior.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any insight or recommended troubleshooting steps would be appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;This is a tough one.&amp;nbsp; If you are not connected to SDI does the camera start normally?&amp;nbsp; You may need to perform a factory reset and set up from scratch.&amp;nbsp; If that doesn't help, try with different media installed.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;If all fails, the camera will need to be sent to Canon for inspection. The SDI input may be defective or faulty.&amp;nbsp; These occasionally fail and are replaceable.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
