It seems a bit odd to me that these tracking modes would not be included for this camera. Was really hoping to see vehicle tracking with the C80. Manual focus at high speed racing events is not always possible. I know a ton of videographers that use the C70 exclusively for motorsport, so I do think these cameras are applicable in this space.
