    <description>&lt;P&gt;Greetings,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That sounds like a lot of work.&amp;nbsp; Canon has some great camcorders that will record straight to an SD card. The image quality would be greatly improved also.&amp;nbsp; Each conversion or transfer looses one generation of quality.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello Brendagerardo,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The XHG1 is a miniDV tape based camcorder.&amp;nbsp; There isn't an option to record movies to an SD card.&amp;nbsp; This is why the camcorder is telling you it's in card position and not able to record.&amp;nbsp; Switch to tape mode in order to record movies.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I connected the Component cable and audio to a Component to HDMI converter.&amp;nbsp; Then I took the output of that and connected it to an HDMI to USB capture device.&amp;nbsp; Using an OTG (USB A to USB C) adapter, I plugged that into my Android mobile phone and using a USB Camera App I was able to record the output of the camera to my cell phone. Then transfer the file to my desktop for editing.&amp;nbsp; You can also plug the USB capture device into a laptop (or desktop)&amp;nbsp; if you wish.&amp;nbsp; Hope that helps&lt;/P&gt;</description>
