Hi,

did any of you notice that the plastic material of the C70 body is a cheap plastic that tends to attract scratches and bumps? Do you have any recommendations on how to remove them? I just wanted to get rid of my C70 and the person who would like to buy it from me wanted to have a 25% price off because of the scratches. I contacted the official Canon service and turned out that a new plastic top plate for C70 would cost 450 bucks, which is unheard of!

Thanks.

I'd seek a different buyer if they'd want a 25% reduction due to cosmetic issues.

In terms of removing them, may be difficult as it has a texture to it. i.e. it probably wouldn't buff out very well.
