Can Raw Light Plugin for FCPX 10.4 Crashes on Import

I just upgraded to FCXP 10.4 and installed the Canon Raw Light Plugin for FCPX. After the plugin is installed I am getting the following error when I click on Import.

FCPX 10.4 crashes every attempt to upload media

I tried it about 10x with as many crashes and re-boots.

Now it is loading after I changed to proxy from optimized !!
