Hello meghdoot76,

Typically when mounting a heavy lens like this on an EOS Cinema camera you would use like a cage and rails like the Red Rock Micro rig. This ensures the weight is properly distributed.

I am just wonder how I should mount Canon 100-44mm f4.5-5.6 lens on Canon C100 Mk 2 as it's a heavy lens. I do have a lens support on a 15mm rails but it's hard to position it without it interfereing with zoom berrel.

I don't want to leave the lens hanging from my C100 as it could damage the mount. If I mount the camera on the lens then it might put too much weight on the lens and the throat of the camera.

Thanks.

Thanks. I have the rails but was wondering about the best but not too expensive lease support. Also, do you have any tutorial on how best to use the lens support?
