Would like to ask if it's possible to trigger recording for the C70 via an external event-triggered device (e.g. light or sound sensor device). If it's possible to can please share your experiences. Thanks!

Greetings dorjeerand,

The EOS C70 has a few options for remote shooting like using the Browser Remote option where the camera is controlled through a network device or by using the RC-V100 Remote Controller. Unfortunately it does not have a function to control the camera through light or sound.
