Hi rhythmlake,

Thanks for checking in with us.

Data Import Utility is not modifying the card. Rather it is keeping track of what has been downloaded on your computer where the program was installed.

Really happy with a couple of C100's I picked up recently, and the Data Import Utility (DIU) is superb. Does anyone happen to know how/where it tracks which clips have been already stitched/imported from an SD card? We are transferring footage every evening and then continuing to shoot on the same 4 cards (2 as backups) with the previous day's clips still present, but also renaming some of the folders the imported clips live in on the edit drives. When importing, it prompts for "All Clips" or "Only those that have not been imported" or something like that.

Does the DIU track the clip ID's natively, or does it add a log file to the SD card itself, or ? Curious about this since we'll be shooting all through July with 12 different 128GB SD cards and I don't want to keep reformatting them until it's necessary.

Thanks!
