Browser Remote times out in Android Chrome. What controls time-out?

Hi. I am loving browser remote for the XF605. Only issue is it times out. The browser sessions asks, "stay or leave?" after about 5 minutes.

Can the setting be adjusted somewhere? I am constantly reconnecting, which takes about a full minute each time. Thanks.

I'm not seeing that exact issue on the C70. I wonder if it's because the browser remote app (in the camera FW) is different, or if it's because I'm using Firefox on Android. You could try that.

What I do find is that if I don't use it for a few minutes, I'm logged out, but I can just log back in again. Since I have Firefox store my credentials, that's just a tap.

The only issue with Firefox I know of is that tap-to-focus doesn't work. It wodks on all the other browsers I've tried.

You could also try Opera.

Thank you for helping! This is the exact issue I was posting about. I'll try firefox. Stored credentials would make it a breeze.

I'd greatly appreciate if anyone could say what's behind the 5 minute timeout.
