The purple panda says that all I have to do is plug the mic in with the appropriate&nbsp;adaptor and it should work. I have changed all the modes and settings but each time I have my external&nbsp;microphone in the mic jack, all i get is a static noise. I opened up my mic level and when I had the external mic in, none of the bars would go up. It seems that it recognizes my microphone because it has the wind screen automatically turned off.
