    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi RobCharles1981,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for posting.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Your camcorder is an overseas version of the VIXIA HF R30-series that was sold here, in The United States. They should be, operationally, very similar.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You may turn off most of the icons with the "Output Onscreen Displays" setting. In the menu, choose the "Settings" tab (this has the wrench icon on it), then choose "Output Onscreen Displays". Turn this setting off, then exit the menu.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
