      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, people do use lens hoods on camcorders. &amp;nbsp;It definitely helps protect against lens flare. Personally, I think it is a good idea to use one.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Any 43mm filter should work and a UV filter is a good one to have.&amp;nbsp; I would make sure the lens hood will allow you to attach a filter.&amp;nbsp; A polarizing filter and neutral density filters also come in handy.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
