XA35 viewfinder and LCD Panel is not working

XA35 viewfinder and LCD Panel is not working. The battery is fully charged. The camera comes on, but will not record. Nothing can be seen through the viewfinder nor the LCD Panel.

Hello carollemieux,

I understand nothing can be seen through the viewfinder or LCD panel of your XA35. We can test this by attempting to activate the viewfinder once more by pulling it out from the camera.

When doing so, does anything appear when you look through it?

Another thing to try with the LCD panel is to verify the display is actually enabled. By pressing the button marked DISP. you can change what is displayed on the panel as well as turn it off. You would want to cycle through several button presses to get the full range of options.

Does this bring back the displays on either the panel or the viewfinder?
