Greetings All!

I am becoming desperate here, I have the Pro 4000 printer (It has been an incredible machine), and recently I went to print and couldn't "find" the printer.
I am running on a mac computer and have the printer connected via USB.

I've tried everything, and I mean everything! I was positive it was my mac because I also have an Epson scanner that also will not be recognized by the mac, and my mac was pretty old (late 2013 model). I did find that one of my USB ports o the mac was not working, and also one of the network ports wasn't either.

So...
I have just bought a brand new Mac and I am beside myself because I still cannot find the Canon printer or the Epson scanner.
I have tried brand new USB cables (more than once), restarting machines, running firmware updates, OS updates,
switching connection ports, all to no avail.
Can anyone offer and help?
