Good evening everyone!

I am at a loss for words. I have 2 Canon Colorado 1650 UV printers and both of them at the same time decided to print solid black with a green hue in the prints. I have done everything I can think of to mitigate the issue, but alas non of it has worked. Below is what I have done thus far. Here is where it gets interesting, even if I did nothing and hit print tomorrow morning, the Colorado would print fine for about a half a day then bam! Back to black with a green hue. This is happening across all media types, there is no banding on the prints, and when a print has multiple colors the black prints perfect for example; An American Flag print blended to a black background. It only happens when it is solid black. The RIP software is Onyx Thrive 24. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

1. Change the ICC profile CMYK vector and RGB vector to print pure black.

2. Created a color replacement filter to 100% K

3. Assigned a pure black spot color in the print file.

4. Manual, Automatic and Periodic maintenances.

5. Printhead Quality Check

6. Updated the Colorado driver in Onyx.

7. Currently doing a print carriage calibration (I will find out what that did, if anything in the morning)

8. Tomorrow I will do a printhead calibration.

Hey Danny,

Explain to me what part of my post asks Canon for support? I'm reaching out to the community as Canon doesn't have any answers. I've already contacted them and they are at a loss as well. Crazy to think it's Canon's printer and yet they have no answers. Thanks for doing the opposite of what the forum is about.
