iPF8400SE head adjustment cannot done after changing the print head

After changing a genuine head my iPF8400SE could not adjust printhead and there is vertical line appears on the print. Tried to carry out the printhead adjustment, both standard and simple but after finishing the process it says printhead adjustment cannot be done, press ok . Not letting me do the manual adjustment.

Any help would greatly appreciated.

Check page 560 of the user manual. There is a manual adjustment that will allow you to check things and did a manual adjust. After then try the auto again. There is also a scanner on the side of the carraige that may need cleaning with a slightly moistened q-tip. Dry with a dry on and try again.

Many thanks for taking time to reply my post. I tried instructions of manual from page 560. But my printer does not allow to adjust manually. I think I have no option other than booking an engineer.
