Canon imagePROGRAF Pro-4100S - Cannot print borderless on the LENGTH side

Paper Roll: Canon Durable Matte Polypropylene Banner 36"
Media Type: Banner Vinyl

Issue:
When I print borderless, the width prints borderless. However, on the length side it increases the size by about 0.5" on each side making the print not truly borderless. When I select "No Spaces at Top or Bottom" option in the Layout screen, it still increases the size of the print by about 0.25" on each side.

We have to then manually cut those lines to make it borderless. Am I not doing something right or is this a bug?

I have to print 10 3'x6' banners and need them completely borderless. How can I get the printer to do then without me having to manually trim the sides. The final result should be 3'x6' completely borderless (36" borderless width, 72" borderless length)

Please advise
