      <title>Network Changes &amp; Padlock Icon on Imagerunner Advance 4235</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I recently bought a used IR ADV 4235 off Ebay for my office.&amp;nbsp; I've got it running but have noticed a few odd things.&amp;nbsp; Most notably, when I go to change the IP Address settings, upon a restart of the machine, the network settings revert back to the original and I cannot figure out why this is happening.&amp;nbsp; I see a small padlock in the lower left corner of the screen and wondered if that has anything to do with the problems I'm experiencing.&amp;nbsp; Any advice is welcome.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The network issue was a simple fix.&amp;nbsp; We had accidentally turned on the DHCP option in the IPV4 network settings.&amp;nbsp; This caused the router to assign a new IP address after each startup even though we were attempting to change it.&amp;nbsp; We turned this option off and issued the printer a static IP address with our router.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are still troubleshooting what the padlock means.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
