Just getting set up with a new printer for our museum and when trying our first test print we keep getting this error message on the printer.

"A paper mismatch error has occurred.
Roll paper is specified for printing, but cut sheet is loaded."

I have searched everywhere for where there may be some kind of setting specifying roll printing (on the printer in paper related settings, and on my computer from photoshop print dialog and mac printer settings) but nothing I try seems to release the printer's desire to print from a roll. If I send the print job without anything loaded it specifically tells me that the roll paper isn't loaded.

How do I get this thing to realize I want to print to a cut sheet of paper???

Hi macberns,

You have to specify the paper source on your computer. Usually, selecting the paper/page size with "(cut sheet)" listed behind it will set your paper source as cut sheet. You should also be able to select Cut Sheet for the paper source in the Quality & Media section (see below). If this doesn't work, let us know what version of Mac OS you're using, and we can give some additional steps.
