Hi Dubmatic,

The imagePROGRAF TA-20 is designed to print on coated, photographic glossy, sign, banner, and display media. Canon's Photo Paper Pro Premium Matte is the only Fine Art/Canvas media that is supported with the TA-20. You're right that the Media Configuration Tool is used to update the printer and driver with supported media types. Please click HERE for more information on the Large Format Media. I hope this is helpful.

I’m considering non-canon canvas paper. It was suggested to use Media Configuration Tool to ensure I use the right paper. However there is no Canvas option on the tool.

how do I make sure I purchase the right canvas paper?
