    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, we also have the problem with our Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-6100S.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We keep getting the error message EC31-2F1C. I thought it was the print head, but cleaning has not brought the expected success so far and the print head is working very well. I have also cleaned the transport rollers for the paper. There was only a temporary improvement, then the error message "Hardware error EC31-2F1C" returned. I could imagine that it might also have something to do with the transport unit. Can someone from CANON please help or does anyone have similar problems and a solution to the problem? Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Same issue here also with the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-6100S. Cleaned and exchanged the printhead - prints one or two prints, then error occurs. No solution so far for this annoying problem.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;The EC31-2F1C error message is regarding the purge unit. If you continue to receive this error code after checking for foreign matter inside the printer (specifically on the right side) and resetting the printer, your printer will require service. For help with setting up service, feel free to call our Imaging Solutions Group at 1-800-423-2366 (press option 1 and then option 3 for Large Format Printers), Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET (excluding holidays). I hope this is helpful.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
