Thank you so much for that info!

I saw the info about wireless set-up online. I'm wondering about hardwired configurations. Our ethernet plugs into the printer. I wasn't able to find anything about updating passwords for hardwired LAN connections.

I have a Canon ImageRunner IR-ADV C3525 III.

It is hardwired to our modem. If I change the SSID on the modem, will it automatically update on the printer? I am unable to find settings to change it.

Hello Terehsah,

If you are using an ethernet connection with the printer, you will not need to update any information on the printer if you change your SSID or password. The printer does not use that information when connecting via ethernet so changing any wifi settings will not affect the connection.
