Hi JohnR,

The WSD port is created when Windows detects your printer.

The port that should be used is the Canon BJ newtork port, as this is installed by your printers installer.

Hi,

I have two Canon printers: (I'm using Win10/64 pro)

1) MG7100 Inkjet with scanner (connected via network cable)

2) LBP6030 Laser connected via wireless.

All work well, however when I installed them I ended up with two of each printer.

One of each on a WSD port

In addition the laser is also on a "MFNP port"

and the Inkjet is on a "Canon BJ newtork port"

Can someone tell me which to keep and why? I've searched both on the internet and cannot find any information suggestion which is better.

Thanks

John
