topic MX860 doesn't print within same WiFi Network in Printer Software & Networking

I have a FiOS (Actiontec) router (SSID say AB) and a bridge (SSID say AB-5G). All the devices seamlessly

work with this setup except for my MX860 printer.

The MX860 is configured to be able to print wirelesslessly and I can see the printer from the router and can

ping it. It has a static IP address assigned to it.

When a print job is submitted from WiFi network AB to the MX860, I get connection error 300 and the job

does not print. When I switch the WiFi network on my Mac (and other Macs on the network) to AB-5G

the print job resumes and prints.

Security is WPA2 as verified on the router as well as on the MX860 WLAN setting list.

(Somewhere, I heard a Canon rep respond to a post that if this is an urgent request, the consumer

should contact Canon support. I think you are a decade behind with your support model and don't

really understand where the consumer / retail product model has moved.)
