    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Suzettarae,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have any antivirus or firewall programs installed on your computer, please temporarily disable them and then attempt to scan&amp;nbsp;again. &amp;nbsp;Sometimes these programs can block the scanning process. &amp;nbsp;You will also want to ensure&amp;nbsp;that the IJ Network Scan Utility&amp;nbsp;is running in order to scan wirelessly. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you still experience difficulty,&amp;nbsp;please call or email us using one of the methods on the &lt;A target="_blank" href="http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/contact_us_consumer"&gt;Contact Us&lt;/A&gt; page for further assistance.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am using Windows 8 and my MX870 scanner is not working.&amp;nbsp; In MP Navigator, it will not let me scan.&amp;nbsp; the Windows scanner is telling me that it cannot detect a scanner.&amp;nbsp; I am using it as a wireless device.&amp;nbsp; I'm thinking my settings might be messed up.&amp;nbsp; The scanner used to work.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
