Canon Print Inkjet / SELPHY not pairing?

Hey everyone! Might not get an answer but here it goes. I just bought a TS5320 and tried to get it paired with my phone and device. I installed the app, got the printer to the point where it said to follow the apps instructions. It says to press and hold the link button for three seconds which I do and nothing happens, it just sits on waiting. I have all permissions given to the app, bluetooth is on and working on both devices since the printer and the phone see each other. Im not sure whats going on?
