<title>topic Connecting Pixma MX452 To Wifi in Printer Software &amp; Networking</title>
    <link>https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Printer-Software-Networking/Connecting-Pixma-MX452-To-Wifi/m-p/50495#M6857</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;When I initially set up my new MX452, I connected it locally to my iMac with USB. It works fine that way, but now I want to switch to Wifi, and I can't seem to make it work. I have connected the MX452 to our Wifi network using the instructions for WPS, and it shows as connected - the printer has been assigned an IP address. But I can't connect to it using Wifi from my iMac. When the printer is plugged in via USB, I see it with a green light and "Idle" in "Print &amp;amp; Scan". But when unplugged from USB, it shows a red light and "Offline". If I try to add it as a new printer, it isn't found. Using OSX 10.8.5 &amp;nbsp;. Thanks for any help. And just to clarify, our Wifi network is working just fine - any other Wifi device in the same vicinity connects to our network with no problems.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
